Basic coated flux manual electrode for nickel-chromium-iron alloys (i.e. Inconel™ 600) and for dissimilar joints.
This product is used for welding of nickel-chromium-iron alloys to themselves and for dissimilar welding between nickel-chromium-iron alloys and steels or stainless steels.
The applications include surfacing as well as clad side welding.  Suitable for high temperature transition joints and cryogenic 3% and 5% Ni steels.Mn and Nb are added to give high resistance to hot cracking. Working temperature from -269°C to approx. 900°C.
